From Deacon Jonathan

Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Beverly Catholic Collaborative:

It is with sadness that I must inform you that this will be my last weekend with you all. My wife and I are leaving Beverly this week for Bridgewater. For the past year and a half, I have been commuting to my job in Quincy, a two hour trip both ways on the T. When it became necessary to find a new apartment; we decided to look in the South Shore, and found a something nice, with a cheaper and shorter commute.

Beverly was my first assignment after my ordination in 2012. You all will have a special place in my heart and prayers.

May the good Lord bless you all!

About Our New Parochial Vicar

Fr. Kevin Staley-Joyce, courtesy of the Boston Pilot

…”I am also looking forward to accompanying those striving to pursue the vocation to marriage, and to help to strengthen those already living it,” he said. He also noted his intention to devote himself “with a particular effort” to renewing the importance of preaching.

“A good priest is above all faithful to the Gospel — in his teachings and explanations, his life priorities and above all, his personal witness to an integrated and fulfilled Christian life,” he said…

Message from our Pastor

Dear Parishioners,

I wish, again, to extend my gratitude to you for your faithfulness to our Collaborative Parishes. It is in the celebration of the Eucharist that we most wonderfully image as the Church that which we receive, “the Body of Christ”. Your prayerful participation has been an inspiration to me during these past four years. I appreciate the tremendous goodwill, rooted in Christ, which has helped form us as the Beverly Catholic Collaborative Parishes and The Saints Academy. As I undertake my new pastoral assignment, please be assured of my prayers for the many kind words and generous support that you have given me.

Thank you!

Blessings in Christ,

Fr. Mark
