Dear Parish Volunteer,

The education, care and protection of our Parish Community is among the most important undertakings of our society. The Archdiocese of Boston requires all parish volunteers to fill out an annual CORI FORM, and attend a one time only VIRTUS “Protecting God’s Children” Training Program.

Although many of our ministries have been suspended at this time, we want to be pro-active in being able to once again participate in the life of the church once restrictions have been lifted. If you have filled out a CORI FORM in the past, or think that you will be assisting in a particular ministry once the suspension has been lifted please complete a CORI Form and mail to the Beverly Catholic Collaborative office at 552 Cabot Street, or place in the collection basket at Mass.

One of the new requirements of the Archdiocese of Boston is that each volunteer must have their form notarized by a Notary Public and mail into the Collaborative Office at 552 Cabot Street. Notary Publics can be found at any bank and City Hall, a small fee may be charged.

Along with the CORI FORM each volunteer is required to attend an online VIRTUS “Protecting God’s Children” Training program.  Go to:  VIRTUS is a program created to Protect Children and others who interact with the Church by preventing wrongdoing and promoting best management practices within the Church Community. This VIRTUS program maximizes efforts by helping churches and religious organizations renew their role as a safe haven for children and empowering them with tools to help adults protect children.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Collaborative Office at 978-922-0113 or and a staff member will be available to help you.
